Hispanic Ministry

At St. Matthew's we have a large number of Hispanic parishioners, who make up a large part of the population, ministries, finances, and cultural diversity of the church. We celebrate Eucharist in Spanish every Sunday at 12:30 pm, and we plan to add one more Mass in the future. Our English as a Second Language (ESL) class serves parishioners who want to learn English. We also celebrate various festivals, which serve to promote the richness of cultural diversity in our parish.

Today an average of five hundred and fifty people attend Mass in Spanish each Sunday and attendance continues to grow. We have been able to establish all the necessary Spanish ministries and serve parishioners as we continue to grow.
