Men’s and women’s hygiene packets are needed to be filled with masks, travel size wet wipes, toothbrushes, toothbrush covers, toothpaste, tissues, hand sanitizers, deodorants, combs and feminine needs for women. These items must be placed in gallon-size Ziploc plastic bags. Brand new socks, t-shirts and undergarments are also needed in all sizes and must be placed in their own, separate bags. Please see the poster and sample hygiene packets at the back of the church. We will collect the hygiene packets at all Masses on the weekend of March 12 and 13. 13 Hygiene Packets for the Homeless
The Filipino and Social Concerns Ministries request your help in putting together hygiene packets for the homeless. This project is done in cooperation with Catholic Charities. Men’s and women’s hygiene packets are needed to be filled with masks, travel size wet wipes, toothbrushes, toothbrush covers, toothpaste, tissues, hand sanitizers, deodorants, combs and feminine needs for women. These items must be placed in gallon-size Ziploc plastic bags. Brand new socks, t-shirts and undergarments are also needed in all sizes and must be placed in their own, separate bags. Please see the poster and sample hygiene packets at the back of the church. We will collect the hygiene packets at all Masses on the weekend of March 12 and 13. On March 25 our church celebrates the Feast of the Annunciation, the day the Angel Gabriel came to Mary to announce that she would conceive and bear a son, our savior and Lord. Mary faced an unexpected pregnancy and had many concerns about how this would affect her life, but in a beautiful act of obedience she trusted God and said “Yes” to His plan. Sometimes women today face unexpected pregnancies resulting in fear and panic. They need our support, both spiritual and practical, to help them say “yes” to this new life.
On the weekend of March 26 & 27, you will have the opportunity to “Spiritually Adopt” a baby in danger of abortion. You will be encouraged to say a short prayer by Bishop Fulton Sheen every day for 9 months, to lift up this little life into God’s protection. Then, at the Feast of the Holy Family in December, we will have a “Baby Shower” and have the opportunity to donate baby items to Corona Life Services, who can distribute them to mothers who choose life for their babies. Look for the table outside of Mass the weekend of March 26 and 27.

Come and join our Bible Study! We will be studying the Gospel of Luke, which is the Gospel we will be reading from in the liturgical calendar for 2022. Join us and get a deeper understanding of the readings we will hear during Mass. We will begin on Tuesday, February 15, and continue for 11 weeks.
