We will be selling beautiful florist quality, single-stemmed rose bouquets for $5 each after all Masses on Mother's Day weekend to benefit Corona Life Services. But before we sell the roses, we need to assemble the bouquets! We need a team of 15 people to meet here at St. Matthews in the Parish Center on Saturday, May 13 at 9:00 a.m. to assemble the bouquets. All materials and simple instructions will be provided. The Social Concerns Ministry invites you to donate paper goods (toilet tissues, paper towels, facial tissues, paper plates and napkins) for the Inspire Life Skills Homes. The Inspire Homes in Corona and Riverside provide shelter, mentoring and training to homeless and former foster youth who have aged out of the foster care system. We will celebrate Flores de Mayo in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Saturday, May 20, with a rosary at 4:30 pm and a mass at 5:00 pm. You are invited to offer flowers to the Virgin Mary after communion. The Filipino Ministry will host a reception at the parish center after the Mass. |
